It's been quite a long time since the last First 10 Minutes, due to the lack of games and of publishers actually willing to send us some (and people wonder why we want to go to Gamersyde.com...). I received Virtua Tennis last week and since I'm still in the process of integrating the new capture hardware into my usual workflow it was the perfect test. A game I really recommend, especially to those who still have friends coming over from time to time. (Xbox 360 version)

Guys aren't taking into consideration the developers have been targeting 30fps it isn't a matter of the hardware not being able to do it.

I've already seen 360 shots with self shadowing, but it looks like crap compared to the ps3 version aliasing all over the place and it looks very watered down.
I think sega is purposely half assing the 360 version of the game (it shows)

Sega has pretty much put bet it all on ps3 and will give every big title they have to the ps3.
Also is it me or does NO 360 developer out there know how to use the edram? It think I can count on a single hand the number of 360 titles that actually have 4XAA..

I do wish they would commit more resources to the Xbox though..last generation they had some really fantastic releases very early on. JSRF, Orta, etc..so far we haven't seen one original Sega release for next gen hit the market. Very few Japanese publishers have shown much this generation yet though, I think it's a bit early to give up on their support.
Hell Sonic comes out next month. PSU soon too. Sonic Team is not their most talented developer, but others will get on board soon enough.

I'm still interested in seeing if those guys actually end up doing a good job with the 360 version of Virtua Tennis.
There is absolutely no reason they shouldn't be able to make the game look amazing unless they don't give a damn about the 360 version.
