Ubisoft releases five screenshots of Rainbow Six Vegas PS3, which is due to be released in a few days. More than six months after the Xbox 360 version we hope the game will not suffer from a bad port job like Splinter Cell Double Agent...

And don't forget the rumble-feedback you get from the controller when you pull the trigger.. It really adds to the immersion into the game, makes you feel like really firing a gun.. I still think that's a major weakness of the PS3-controller for not having that..

Yeah, the lack of rumble is beyond stupid. Chances are there will be 3rd party controllers with rumble though........but who's going to program rumble functionality for a non-standard controller?

no AA, bad framerate - other than that it's awesome!

Overall I’m impressed with UE3, even if it’s clear that ubisoft has some trouble mastering it… I really hope that the frame rate problems will be gone by the time it’s released, but somehow (Splinter Cell Double agent comes in mind) I doubt it…

Anyway, GoW will show us the true visual potential of UE3…

It will indeed, i hope Epic aren't neglecting dev's where UE3 is concerned, Sakaguchi made a comment that Epic had been slow in getting then revised code in regards to Lost Odyssey, and that they haven't been able to make use of more than one core because of this.

A lot of games are depending on Epic and it's middleware, they better not mess Lost Odyssey up.. or else there'll be trouble.

I'm willing to buy the game if lock ups are TOTALLY ELIMINATED, framerate is improved, and multiplayer actually works.........unlike Double Agent.

So is the framerate unbearable? What about screen tearing? No AA isn't a big deal for me, but framerate/tearing is,

i dont see any tearing. framerate when nothing is happening is fine, i'd say stable 30fps. the problem is when the action starts and there's more than 1 person on the screen shooting. sometimes there are also parts where framerate goes down for no reason (no one on the screen). it is by no means unplayable, just distracting imo, and ill still get it come release

Thanks for fast response. Maybe final version will be more steady.(Should be atleast) I'm hearing it's going to be good online so I doubt I'll pass up on this one. I just hope it's atleast playable when in shootouts online.
