yep, bad move from sony no doubt. but it doesn't change the fact that lair is a awesome game for me. just give it a try... there are a lot of users that like lair and can't understand the reviews. I don't care if you play it or not - all I can say: don't miss it!!

about the brightness: HS is very bright - so most will turn down brightness a bit to have more contrast. if you then play lair afterwards you almost can't see anything - so you turn up the brightness again.

all I want to say is that you should use some calibrator stuff (like DVE or THX optimizer) and then leave it alone!

lair has very intensive HDR - so your flying against the sun and you can only see a see a black dragon infront of you - you turn and suddenly everything is bright and vivid - it's supposed to be like that. if you have turned up brightness to much it just looks silly sometimes.

Okay my conclusion on Lair is this...I am not getting it.

1. MUCH better games are coming out this year, like Uncharted, Mass Effect, Haze, Assassins Creed, The Orange Box.

2. Saving money on a game I know I wont play more than once.

3. Not a fan of motion sensor...at all!

4. Wasting money on games I have anticipated long enough, rather wasting money on a game I think it looks "cool" but have my doubts about it.

5. I already got the full soundtrack and the gamerip so thats a major plus from Factor 5 :D

6. Although I want to play the demo, IF they still have plans to release it as planned.

Don't get me wrong, I think it LOOKS very awesome, art, design, graphics, soundtrack...etc. but I still have to think about my future games and my money, which is more important for me rather shelling out money for each game I think is cool.

So yeah, most of you see that Lair is not on my list anymore, since I think last week or so.

Yeah whats up with "demo will be released AFTER the game relases" ?

I have been waiting for that demo for quite some time now.
I won't buy it, but I still want to play and see all the bad and good fuzz about this.

After watching the Uncharted video on the main page, I think Sony are guna end up with another less than brilliant game on their hands.

Something about that game is very repetitive.

It looks ok but doesn't give me the impression of a must have title anymore.
