Tekken 5 DR videos

The great DjMizuhara sent me this rather long video of Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection. The game is now available on the japanese Playstation Store, but it's impossible to buy it with a european credit card. Ho well, at least we still get some videos even if the quality isn't as good as usual.

Its Tekken, and it really does look and still play like Tekken which is a good thing :)
One thing I must say about the PSP version..... MARVELLOUS, loved the music too which I found to be the best in the series. The PS3 version looks as expected to me, it was a PSP game and its bloody good!

It seems to take forever to d/l stuff from the HK store to the UK for me - the stuff from the US comes down a lot faster.
Having played this a lot more now, it's classic Tekken, with such a wealth of characters on offer there's loads of combo stuff to learn and use in the game, it's not going to blow your socks off graphically considering the ability of the PS3, but astounding graphics do not a good game make, solid gameplay does, and this is available in spades. At HK$125 it's quite the bargain compared to the PSP version.

Looks good, however, I am not a Tekken fan. But I guess fans should really enjoy this.
Sigh, I wish they would release an SC3 upgrade like this on the PS market. I know it won't happen, but still if it did, I would go out right now and buy a PS3. Yup, I'm crazy, I know :p

certainly is - but for merely a few months. I guess for many VF is/was one of the reasons to get a ps3. Atleast thats the impression you get if you read other websites and forums, but now another flagship title goes multiplatform. It must hurt sony to some degree...

To keep this somewhat more on topic...Sega should release an older VF game as downloadable content on the PSN Store or XBLA. VF2 would rock :)
Oh, and just FYI, this news was posted on this site and Xboxyde already..so if you're looking to strike up a conversation about it, there's already one going.

yeah, thanks, but look at my second post where I found out i was late with the news and that I was posting in the wrong thread... :)
I do agree with you, however if the game do come out in summer it will not be 6 months more likely 3 or 4 months. But we will see, it might slip into autum. Who knows... :)
