ACTIVISION PUBLISHING’S SECRET SERVICE
PUTS THE PRESIDENT’S LIFE IN GAMERS’ HANDS
SANTA MONICA, CA – OCTOBER 10, 2008 – Activision Publishing, Inc. (Nasdaq: ATVI) announced today that Secret Service will be released later this year for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, Playstation®2 computer entertainment system, and PC. The title will allow players to assume the role of an elite agent, tasked with protecting America’s top leadership.
Secret Service takes place on Inauguration Day in Washington D.C. An extremist assault has been launched against the capitol - security has been compromised and it is unclear who is friend or foe. There is no time for negotiation as you are thrust out of the shadows and into the line of fire in order to protect the nation’s leaders. The action takes place among famous landmarks and everywhere in between, including both Marine One and Air Force One.
A tactical first person action game full of plot twists and revelations, Secret Service features story and level design contributions by Daniel Arey, who previously worked on Uncharted, the Jak series and the Crash Bandicoot series.
“This game is a unique addition to the first person action genre, with a rich storyline set across famous locations and the need to use both lethal and non-lethal force to achieve your objectives,” said Dave Oxford, Activision Publishing. “Secret Service brings a nice refreshing spin to fans of run-and-gun games.”
Secret Service will be available for $39.99 on Xbox 360, $29.99 for Playstation®2 computer entertainment system, and $19.99 for PC. The Secret Service videogame is not approved, endorsed or authorized by the U.S. Secret Service.

Funny yet somehow not surprising. Dead Rising went to the family-friendly Wii but not PS3. Sony just can't catch a break this gen.

Looks very mediocre visually... are you sure these are 360 screenshots and not PS2 ones?

It's a budget game, they're not going for graphics.
Also, I suggest you turn on your PS2 (if you even have one) and check the graphics, because they do not look as good as this game, as mediocre as it is.

And the difference between the ps2 and xbox was that the ps2 hit earlier, was cheaper, and was less techically advanced than the xbox...sound familiar?
I do agree though.. ps3 owners wouldn't even want this..they should start putting these kind of budget games through xbox live though. Rather than keep rehashing retro games that nostalgia has made us believe were way better than they actually are.

Looking over this thread, Gamersyde is really beginning to go downhill. So much for the rules of checking fanboy attitudes at the door.

For a budget game this doesn't look half bad (it's budget)
Given who is making it, it's sure to be fun as well

LOL just wow to this thread let me check who ignited the fanboy wars , ah yes that makes sense him again.
As Cooleo said, this is a budget game so its not going for AAA graphics, sounds intersting will wait to hear more.

when looking at these broke ass screens its obvious that the devs for this game are too damn lazy to work with the ps3.

oh btw heard it was gonna be half price? nice one
also i think they are releasing it on the PS2 rather then the PS3 because PS2 has more users then the PS3(more chances of sales) so its only sensible for a budget game
if this game can run on a PS2 then i dont aspect anything unique about the gameplay or AI or whatever but for £20-25 might be worth playin.
